The title of this exhibition refers to distinctive man-made and natural forms within the landscape. These often solitary features with their varying degrees of dominance, challenge our ideas of scale and the relationship with their surroundings.

Nicola Nemec studied Fine Art at Leeds Metropolitan University. In 1994, immediately after graduating she was selected from hundreds of graduates to win a SPACE studio award.
This consisted of one years tenure in London, and an exhibition at completion. She has continued to exhibit nationally, working on the North East Coast of Northern Ireland.
